For Air Traffic Control the Netherlands, Steam and Big Shots created Jamie Rises Above Himself: a three part recruitment series in which Jamie Trenité discovers what it takes to become an air traffic controller. Not a standard vacancy story, but a spectacular series that makes the work feel real by letting Jamie experience the same skills air traffic controllers rely on every day.

Across three episodes, Jamie dives into the world of LVNL. He joins the team in the tower, takes on assignments on a truck driving faster and faster, and discovers how important proactivity, strategic thinking and multitasking are when you are responsible for safe air traffic.
By translating the profession into exciting challenges, a complex role became understandable, compelling and human. The series did not just show what air traffic controllers do, but above all what kind of talent the job requires. This turned recruitment from an explanation of a role into an invitation to test yourself.
